演題：Granular Materials: Concepts and misconceptions about a very
special "complex fluid"

内容： Granular Materials have in recent years aroused the interest
of researchers in many physical communities. As a result, a wide
variety of methods, stemming from Polymer-Physics over nonlinear
dynamics to fluid mechanics are used in the theoretical treatment. An
overview will be given on the properties of granular materials which
are different from materials in related condensed matter field,
starting from Raleigh-dilatancy and compaction over static friction
to segregation and history-dependence, and the requirements for the
numerical details will be explained.
