内容：
New achievements of the helical vortex theory will be presented. Its
include the following results: new form for the analytical solution
describing an infinitely thin helical vortex filament; a solution for
columnar vortices accounting for the helical shape of vortex lines and
different laws of vorticity distribution; a formula for calculation of
the self-induced velocity of helical vortex rotation (precession); the
classification of vortex structures; an explanation of the zone with
reverse flow (recirculation zone) and vortex breakdown phenomenon
arising in swirl flows; stability analyzing of circular array of
slender helical vortices; etc. In practice helical vortex has been
observed in different vortex flows (e.g. in tornado cores; after
vortex breakdown and in vortex chambers; in wakes behind propellers
and turbines; as a model of the vortex couplings in turbulent flows;
etc.). Comparisons of the observations are in accord with new data of
the helical vortex theory.
